I recently bought MRF Zapper Q 100/90-18 and Zapper FS 90/90-17 tubeless tyres for my Apache RTR 160, 2011 model. The tyre shop person got it fit on my rims. But there was air leakage from the sides. He told me to put tube inside these tyres for a couple of days and the tubeless tyres would expect set and then the tubes can be removed. How far is this achievable? And is there a fix to this problem? Because the whole point of a tubeless tyre is lost by doing this. Please advise what has to be done.
P.S – The wheels are alloys and were fitted with tube type tyres before.
